I drew squares to create the backgrounds due to the shape of the cards and then coloured them using the promarkers that are of similar colour to the digital backgrounds I have chosen. Although the texture will be quite subtle, this should look good because it won't distract from the imagery.
These are the designs with the textures added in. I placed the textures at the back of the colour background and then changed the opacity so you could just see the texture. Although some of the colours have altered now with this in place, I feel they look even better because they are bolder than before but still work really well together as a set because each stands out.
