Surface pattern yearbook; concepts.

After the initial meeting with Fred and Duncan, our group decided to have a little meeting of our own to decide what to do next in order to get the yearbook going. Sophie told us about the fact she'd already had a few ideas for the concept and we decided that we should all go away and have a think so we are all contributing towards the ideas.

I've come up with a couple really basic ideas but feel that any ideas in general will be a lot more solid once we recieve the copy for the yearbook.
The first name for the yearbook I've come up with is 'Bright, Bold and Brilliant'. From what Duncan said about his course this is the impression I have of the students and feel that these words not only represent the students, but the work they produce too.
The second one is Creative Culture because Duncan spoke about the studio culture and the importance of this. I feel this name may be a little too obvious though but at least it's another idea.
I feel that specific categories throughout the PDF will work best because it will guide the audience through it. These categories could be awards, studio environment etc. The categories will again, definitely be determined by the copy we are given.

We are all going to meet up with our ideas tomorrow so we can choose our favourite to take to our next meeting.
