The first thing we are going to work on for the yearbook is the copy layout because once this is sorted it's just a case of placing the images in. We each went away and came up with some intial ideas for this layout so when it came to placing the actual text, we'd have something to work with. I took the introductory section from the text Duncan gave us to work with. Editorial isn't one of my strong points but I've had a good go at coming up with some ideas using a double page spread example incase my ideas weren't going to be used.

Surface pattern yearbook; my initial copy layout ideas.
The first thing we are going to work on for the yearbook is the copy layout because once this is sorted it's just a case of placing the images in. We each went away and came up with some intial ideas for this layout so when it came to placing the actual text, we'd have something to work with. I took the introductory section from the text Duncan gave us to work with.
